Window sizes:

The maximum glass sizes are 2700 x 4000 mm, the outer frame extends about 3 cm beyond the glass edge on each side. The window can be extended up to 40-50 cm outside the lico wall, the only limitation then is the load capacity of the wall (the frame is anchored around the perimeter).

Frame design:

The window frame is the main support element, so the glass is not loaded with structural stresses, as well as a tight adherence to the wall surface (usually not fully flat surfaces). Each large window requires very accurate measurement of the vertical and curvature of the wall (often there are even a few centimeters deviations). Virtually every one of our projects is an individual project adapted to the order specifications.

Package three or four glazing, at the customer's request additional, internal covering with reflective or dimming films. Thanks to the design of the window, the frame is practically invisible, and the window works almost like a mirror reflecting the surroundings. Tempered glass, resistant to punching with excellent thermal parameters.

Customer specification

Each window is made on individual order. The project is adapted to the wishes of the ordering party in all details such as; the distance of weaning glass panes from the wall, type of glazing: glued, tempered, foiled, thermal insulation, color.

The minimum frame size is 3.5 cm thick. From the front it is invisible.  From the outside, the housing is 7 mm wider than the glass. protection of the edges of the glass.

Bay windows by ejecting beyond the outline of the wall are very glamorous. What's unheard of from the inside look like an unbuilt hole in the wall.

The appearance of the inner and outer casings and the type of glass used can be fully adapted to the idea of the designer or investor, more about it in the SECTION FOR THE DESIGNER.

The frame extends the hole and the window sill is part of the

The most convenient solution for newly built buildings. The windows are mounted before thermal insulation of the wall. The frame design makes it easy to finish the outer edges of the window opening.

The wooden frame structure fully sits the interior of the window and is part of the interior design.

Heat transfer coefficient U=0.81 W/(m²K) triple glazing, U=0.58 W/(m²K) quad glazing.

Window larger than a hole in the wall

The solution is advisable when it is necessary to illuminate the interior as much as possible. In addition, it is possible to obtain a change in the appearance of the window in the façade..

The solution is advisable when it is necessary to illuminate the interior as much as possible.  Together with the combined variant (where the window sill is part of the frame and the rest is larger than the hole) we use an aluminum support structure.  The standard window is 20.7 cm out of the lico wall with triple glass and 22.7 cm at the quadruple.

Heat transfer coefficient U=0.72 W/(m²K) triple glazing and U=0.58 W/(m²K) quad glazing.

Combination variant: window sill as a frame element, but the rest of the window magnified relative to the hole in the wall.

Depending on the customer's wishes and installation conditions, we choose the most advantageous solution for the place.

The main challenges are its surface, curvature and angle of inclination. On the finish of the surface depends on its tightness on penetration with rainwater. Stone or brick behaves differently, or a concrete wall with thermal insulation. Our system allows you to correct the curvature of the wall frame to a difference of 12 mm. With larger window surfaces or wall curves, accurate measurements are necessary to correct any bumps with the shape taken under the frame dimension. All this can affect the cost.

Unlike standard windows, all installation of the R ORION system takes place outdoors. Depending on the height of the installation, access to the building and the window opening, obstacles (e.g. under or above the window, etc.) Glass panes require lifts, cranes, or mountaineering methods to be placed on site. These are the main factors that shape the price. Without a thorough knowledge of all conditions, it is difficult to estimate costs. It is clear that the larger the dimensions of the window, the heavier the elements and thus the higher the cost of construction and installation.
